Questions
Where are my codes?
Here on My votes, and in your email. Voted without an account? Ask for a link with the email you used.
When am I charged?
Your card is held when you vote, not charged. You're charged when Sample Ice Cream Co. confirms the truck for your street.
What if the truck doesn't come?
If the street doesn't reach its minimum before the vote ends, or the company declines or doesn't confirm in time, the hold is released and nobody pays. If the truck was confirmed and then can't come, you get your money back.
Which emails will I get?
You're in with your codes, Truck's coming when it's confirmed, Truck is here when the driver arrives on your street, or Not this time if your hold is released. Payment receipts come from Stripe. All your codes are also in My votes.
What if I miss the truck?
Once the truck is confirmed and comes, unclaimed ice creams are not refunded. The truck loaded them and drove to your street.
What do min and max mean?
Min is how many ice creams a street needs before the truck can come. Max is how many the truck can carry. At max the vote closes.
Can I buy more than one?
Yes. Use Bundle under the Vote button. Each ice cream counts as one vote. Pick one code per ice cream (friends come out separately) or one code for all.
What are free scoops?
A neighbour can treat the street. Their ice creams show as free scoops anyone can claim with an email, first come first served. The company can add free scoops too: they're always labelled as the company's, count toward the street's min and max, and can be claimed the same way.
What's "On the route"?
The truck already drives this street at a set time. You pre-order so your ice cream is ready.
Can I start a vote on my street?
Yes, if it's inside Sample Ice Cream Co.'s area. Pick a day and time range when they're open.
